Dottie

Dottie is a sweet and sensitive girl who will thrive in a calm, patient environment. She must start in a small, quiet room to help her adjust before exploring the rest of the house, as she can become easily overwhelmed in large, open spaces.

To make her feel safe, she'll need access to scratch posts, cat trees, hides like cardboard boxes or igloos, and shelves or dressers that provide both high and low safe spaces around the home. Dottie's ideal adopter will be understanding and patient, recognizing that she may be timid at first but will blossom once she settles in. She may take some time to feel comfortable enough to show her true personality.

A home with teens or children over 8, who can read and respect basic cat body language, is recommended. Dottie would do best as a single cat, where she can enjoy a calm, peaceful environment. She's a sweet, gentle girl who will offer you little chirps and pats once she feels safe.
