Hi, I’m Violet. I’m a 3-year-old Golden Retriever with a gentle heart and a calm soul. I’m not the kind of dog who charges into life full-speed — I take my time, I observe, and I get to know the world at my own pace. But once I feel safe and connected, I’m deeply loyal and incredibly loving.

I’m looking for a home where someone is around more often than not. I feel my best when I know I’m not alone for long stretches of time. Quiet companionship is everything to me — I don’t need constant entertainment, just someone nearby who makes me feel safe. Whether you're working from home, retired, or simply love the idea of having a soft, golden shadow, I’d be so happy by your side.

My yard is my safe space, and having a solid fence helps me feel secure. I get overwhelmed by too much going on around me, especially if I can see out through the fence — so something solid and private is best. I also really enjoy having access to both indoors and outdoors during the day. If you have a doggy door or are home to let me move freely, I’ll thrive with that freedom and flexibility. I know some dogs love big walks and adventures — but that’s just not me. The outside world can feel a bit too big and scary sometimes. Loud noises, unfamiliar places, and too much going on all at once make me uneasy. So definitely no dog parks for me.

I’m a sensitive girl. I notice everything, and I feel things deeply. That means I need a home that’s steady and understanding, with people who will give me time to settle in and blossom. I’m not the kind of dog who will thrive in a busy or loud household. I need a gentle environment where I can relax, feel secure, and just be myself.
