About Rusty
Meet Rusty, a 5 year old red and tan kelpie boy who is looking to start a new life after losing his job on the farm (through no fault of his). He is a loyal and intelligent boy searching for a best mate for the next chapter of his life.
Rusty is a gentle soul who will melt your heart with his puppy dog eyes. He loves nothing more than to follow his foster mum around the house and garden, often carrying a squeaky toy. When it is time to come inside he is happy to take his toy to bed for a nap.
Rusty’s life has been turned upside down since leaving the farm but he has thrived in foster care. He is now comfortable inside the house and settles well in his bed. He will go to the door if he needs to go out to toilet. He is crate trained but prefers to sleep in a bed on the floor. He travels well in the car.
He has learned to sit, shake and drop and can walk on a loose lead. He is good with other dogs, cats and chickens. He is enjoying off lead walks around the foster farm and has shown no desire to chase wildlife on off lead walks. He has reliable recall.
Rusty would love a new home in a quiet environment with a family to call his own. His new family will need to continue working with him at his pace as he transitions to pet life.
If you are looking for a new best mate and can give Rusty the retirement he deserves, apply now. Rusty is waiting for you!
Rusty is located in NSW.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
