About Brody
Meet Brody, a handsome 5 year old red and tan kelpie. He is a fun loving guy looking for an active family who will include him in all their adventures.
Brody loves going on adventures to the beach or hikes or wherever else you might go. He travels well in the car. When the fun is over though, he is happy to curl up on the couch or his bed.
Brody can sit, shake and drop and walk on a lead. He will wait for his food and at gates or doors on cue. He has reliable recall and is enjoying daily off lead walks around the foster farm. He is crate trained but would prefer to sleep in a bed on the floor or outside. Typical of his breed, Brody is focused and easy to train. He loves to learn new things.
He is good with other dogs, cats and chickens. He has previously lived with young children.
Brody is overweight at 23kg but this does not slow him down. His new family will need to commit to continuing his weight loss plan to get him back into great condition. Regular exercise will need to be part of this plan.
Brody has been enjoying life on the foster farm but would love a home of his own with plenty of room to stretch his legs. He will need very secure fencing and preferably someone home most of the time. Another friendly, playful dog would complete his wish list.
If you are looking for a great family dog and can give Brody plenty of mental and physical activity, apply now. Brody is ready for you!
Brody is located in NSW.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
