About Superintendent Chalmers
*In foster care in Canterbury, Sydney*
The perfect mix of sensible and playful, Superintendent Chalmers is always up for a game or a chase with his siblings - but he also has a cautious and dignified side, which makes him more likely to assess situations before running blindly into them. But once he has all the info he needs, he dives in head-first!
Superintendent Chalmers seems to have taken on a little bit of the personality of his namesake, and often busts up the play of the other kittens when he thinks they're being too rowdy. He adores a cuddle with his foster humans too - he's definitely a lover, not a fighter :) The ultimate peacekeeper, and the smartest of boys, Chalmers would love to meet you!
Like all Maggie's pets, Superintendent Chalmers is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm a super-sweet guy with a sensitive side, so I'll be happiest in a home with a relaxed, peaceful vibe and humans who are looking for a snuggle buddy as well as a playmate.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Sky-high! I'm ever-ready for some rough and tumble, or speed laps of the house, and I absolutely love my toys. But when I eventually run out of puff, I adore a cuddle with you :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: A family home with teens (ideally) or possibly calm children aged 10+ would be my best match.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: My siblings are terrific fun, and I rub along just fine with the resident dogs and cats in my foster home. As I like to be familiar with my surroundings before I blossom into my personality, a slower introduction to resident pets would be a good idea, but once I know them I'll be a great little buddy!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
