Meet Sunny, a little cutie who is still learning about the big wide world. Sunny missed out on a lot in his first year as he was kept as a breeding dog. He is hesitant at first with new people, dogs or places, but pretty soon he comes out of his shell and enjoys cuddles. He has a little carrier that he will retreat to if he needs his space, but he's needing this less as his confidence grows each day.

Sunny gets on beautifully with the other small dogs in his foster home and has learnt quickly about going outside to toilet. He's been living with two cats and is very good with them too (he will occasionally play zoomies if they are up for it, but otherwise lays next to them on the lounge with you). He's very small, and currently sleeps in his little dog bed beside his carer's bed at night, but would love to sleep on your bed if allowed!

Sunny doesn't eat much, but then he is only a teeny boy! He is good on the lead and enjoys a little walk, especially when he has routes that he knows well. Sunny deserves to spread his wings and expand his world, bit by bit with his new family. He's a young boy with lots of living to do!

Sunny would thrive in a relaxed, happy home with a doggy friend to give him confidence and show him the ropes. Older kids would also be fine. A home with an owner who understands that trust takes a little time to build in a dog who didn't get the best start.

Adoption fee includes vet check, vaccination, microchip (including transfer of ownership fee), flea and worm treatment and sterilisation.

ADOPTION NOTES
Our adoption process for the successful applicant includes a meet and greet, (including your own dog if applicable), a home check (or photos of your yard and fencing to be supplied to us if not local), and a two week trial period to ensure your chosen dog is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts (we cannot accept cash). The Adoption Agreement will be emailed to the selected applicant in advance of meeting your chosen dog.

After the adoption trial period has been completed we arrange transfer of ownership of the dog's microchip to the new owner, and email out the vet records.
