About Turbo
Meet 3-year-old Turbo, a gentle and well-behaved American Bulldog mix who loves humans more than himself.
Weighing 24.9 kg, Turbo is healthy, robust and ready to find his forever home.
He loves the children and has special privileges not normally given to foster dogs in the house... he is allowed to sleep in the bed with his teenaged foster brother because of his calm gentle nature. He would also fit beautifully into the home of a couple or a single person.
His foster mum says he is a couch potato and thinks too much exercise is something to be avoided!
Turbo can be selective about his canine company. He’s not keen on exuberant, high energy dogs. He would hate for them to expect him to run around and play! That seems like too much work. He has lived happily with a large female dog before and is happy to ignore the other dogs through the fence at his foster home.
Turbo walks nicely on a leash and prefers dogs to use their manners and stay out of his face like the extinguished gentleman that he is. No one enjoys poorly mannered company when out for a little stroll.
His ideal home will have secure fencing to keep him safe, plenty of human company—because he adores people—and a compatible female dog would be a bonus. Turbo dreams of a home where he’s regarded as an integral family member with abundant indoor privileges… couches included!
If you’re looking for an affectionate, loyal companion to complete your home, Turbo could be the perfect boy for you.
Prior breed experience will be highly regarded.
