About Dusty (67166)
Dusty is a mature ex racing greyhound who is not very long off the track. He has coped extremely well with life at the shelter, and although he has some post race decompression to complete, he has politely and socially met many dogs. His calm and solid demeanor has been lovely. Dusty has limited homelife experience and will need assimilation into house training, walking the neighborhood, traveling in a car, meeting new people and dogs, however his chilled nature will be a positive influence. Dusty may be suited to another calm dog, especially greyhound, however living in close quarters to another dog will be new to him and require guidance. He is not to be rehomed with cats, pocket pets or young children, however he may have had experience around chickens! Greyhounds are a bit of a rarity at GAWS now, so take this opportunity to come meet Dusty.

Please note it is compulsory that we meet any existing dogs with the GAWS dog of interest to help ensure a good match for all involved. In addition, all household members are required to attend the meet and greet to assess the dog's interaction.
