Hi, I'm Willoughby!

As much as my breed suggests I am exotic or even regal, I promise I am not a snob and am really super sweet and friendly.

I meet everyone with enthusiasm and affection and usually beg for head scratches. I have a favourite spot I like being scratched, just on the side of my face. I love being around people and in line with my breed I am one clingy boy. I like being around my humans more often than not and am a self-proclaimed sooky boy.

When I am not begging for your time and affection, I love to play. I like different activities to keep my days interesting, whether that's chasing a feather wand or hiding in a tunnel and jumping out to surprise you.

I am a little matted and as such have had some big chunks cut out of my fur to make me sooo much more comfortable. I hope my new home can brush me daily to stop this happening again!

I would also like to mention I do have FIV, but I promise this does not change a lot in my life at all. I am still young, healthy and expect to live a long and happy life. It just means my immune system is a little weaker than most cats, and I can transfer this on to other cats, but only through deep bites, which I wouldn't do anyway because I love other cats. Whoever adopts me will also need to brush my long mane as I was pretty knotted when I first came into the shelter. I hope I don't get to that stage again!
