About Honey
Honey is a fun-loving, affectionate young girl who just wants to be part of a loving home. She adores squeaky toys, chasing balls, and doing zoomies inside and around the yard! While she can be shy and cautious at first, her confidence grows quickly with gentle reassurance — and treats are definitely the way to her heart 💓.
Honey is fully house-trained, sleeps soundly indoors and is learning to walk nicely on lead. She’s good with other dogs when introduced slowly and loves the company of people once she feels safe. Because she’s still learning to trust again, she’ll do best in a calm home where someone is home more often than not and can continue her gentle training and positive socialisation. She would suit a home without cats, and where children are 10 years or over.
After being found as a stray and sadly not reclaimed, Honey deserves a second chance — and she’s ready to fill your home with laughter, loyalty, and love 💛.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
