About Monza
Liam's journey to safety began on the outskirts of Melbourne, where he was trapped and brought into care after living life on his own. Understandably, he arrived frightened and unsure of people, but with time, patience, and gentle care, Liam has started to show his brave side.
This lovely 3-year-old boy has been working closely with our team to build his confidence, and we believe he's now ready to take the next big step - finding that special person who can continue this journey with him in a loving home.
Liam is a shy soul, but he's also quite the chatterbox once he feels a little comfortable. His soft, sweet meows are his way of saying hello - even if his paws aren't quite ready to follow just yet. He's slowly discovering the joy of toys, and when he's coaxed out of his hiding spot, his spark really begins to shine through.
Liam will need a quiet home where he can decompress at his own pace and feel safe. A dedicated "safe space" - like a cozy room or nook - will help him build confidence and start exploring his new world. He may also benefit from the gentle guidance of another calm, confident cat who can show him that people aren't so scary after all.
Cats like Liam remind us that rescue is about patience, understanding, and second chances. He's one of those special souls who just needs someone to see his potential and believe in him. With love and time, we know he'll blossom into the wonderful companion he's meant to be.
Adopting Liam truly means saving a life and giving him the chance to know what a real home feels like.
Liam is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment. If you can open your heart and home to Liam - or if you're a rescue group able to help - please reach out to us at adoption.cranbourne@dogshome.com
