About Sadie
Meet Sadie – A Gentle Soul Looking for Her Forever Home.
Sadie is a beautiful, sweet, and affectionate little lady with a heart full of love to give. This gentle girl recently lost her beloved elderly cat dad and her mum could no longer care for her after moving into full-time care. Her extended family lovingly reached out to us to help find her the perfect new home where she can continue to thrive and be cherished.
From the moment Sadie arrived in her foster home, her sweet personality shone brightly. Curious and courageous, she quickly explored every nook and cranny of the apartment and soon claimed her favourite spot on the couch as her very own little throne. She settled in beautifully and has grown even more confident with each passing day.
Sadie is a friendly, people-oriented cat who genuinely enjoys company. She’s rarely far from her humans, quietly following you from room to room and offering gentle companionship. She adores attention, head scratches, and especially belly rubs – often purring loudly in appreciation. When you find her favourite spot, she’ll even lift her little bottom for extra scratches, which is utterly endearing. While she’s not a lap cat and prefers not to be picked up, she shows her affection warmly by leaning into your hands and staying close by your side.
She knows her name well and comes running with her tail held high and a happy purr whenever she’s called. Playtime brings out her fun side too – she loves chasing small toys like springs and anything that skitters across the floor. With her shorter legs, she’s not much of a jumper, but she’s perfectly content lounging on couches, beds, and any soft, reachable spots.
Sadie is generally a quiet girl with a soft, gentle voice she uses mostly for greetings or to politely show you where she’d like to go. Mealtimes, however, bring out her adorable chatty side as she lets you know it’s time to eat! She also has a curious interest in the smell of people food and may come to investigate with sweet little meows – likely a sweet habit from her previous home.
Sadie is happiest and most relaxed as the only cat in the home, where she can receive all the love and attention she so richly deserves. Patient, easygoing, and incredibly affectionate, she would make a wonderful companion for a first-time cat owner or anyone seeking a calm, loving feline friend.
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a truly special girl, Sadie would love to meet you.
Sadie is approximately 7 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
If you think you have the room in your heart and your home to provide this gorgeous little soul with a great life please let us know and we’ll be more than happy to arrange a time for you to meet and fall in love with her

About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
How You Can Help

We are always in need of foster carers. If you have a safe, loving temporary home and would like to help us care for a cat on their journey to their forever family, please get in touch. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can save.
