About Maggie
Meet Maggie – A Sweet, Playful Soul Ready to Shine 🐾
Maggie came to us as a fearful stray, but with patience and love in her foster home, she has blossomed into a curious, confident, and joyful companion. She loves to play—chasing wand toys, batting ping pong balls, and zooming through her tunnel. During the day, you’ll often find her napping in a sunny spot while excitedly watching birds.
Maggie is motivated by treats and food, and she responds well to pats and gentle head rubs. She even delights in joyful belly flops and rolls! She’s curious and engaged, showing potential to respond to clicker and treat training.
Maggie has just discovered that being a lap cat is pretty wonderful and while she dislikes being picked up, she has begun to show affection by jumping up for morning pats and snuggles on the bed. Currently living happily in an apartment as a solo cat, she enjoys quiet moments together as much as playtime.
Maggie has shared a space with another calm cat previously and should adjust to a household with another cat given a slow, careful introduction. She would do best in a quieter home with no children.
Maggie needs to be an indoor-only cat or live in a secure outdoor cat enclosure to keep her safe. She is desexed, microchipped, litter trained, flea and worm treated, and vaccinated. Maggie has had most of her teeth extracted after her early years on the streets, but this does not affect her quality of life.
If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who will grow more confident every day, Maggie could be the perfect addition to your home.
