About Bowie Girl
Prepare your home for a dose of pure, glittering charisma, because this little rockstar is ready to steal the show.
Meet Bowie, a female puppy whose personality shines with the dazzling energy of a sold-out stadium.
Bowie is coming along so well in her foster home. She has learnt to sit but is very excited when it's dinner time so needs to practice her manners. She will whinge a little when first put in her crate for sleep, but settles quickly and stays that way till about 5am when she will let you know its time for her toilet break.
Her toileting is coming on well but she will still have the occasional accident when she forgets herself but with further positive encouragement she will be there in no time.
Bowie embodies everything wonderful (and wild) about the puppy phase. She is intensely playful, delightfully mischievous, and possesses a temperament that is truly exceptional. Every day is a grand adventure for Bowie, whether she’s chasing a bouncing ball or trying to convince you her chew toy needs to be surgically attached to your hand. She has an abundance of love to offer and is driven by an incredible curiosity about the world around her, promising to grow into a truly beautiful and devoted adult dog.
Bowie has already nailed the early socialization required for a well-balanced future. She has been happily living alongside adult dogs, and also a cat. While interested in the cat she is learning to be respectful but for her future home, it will depend on the cat. This early foundation is a huge advantage and will help her transition into a well-mannered teenager and adult, provided her family continues this vital education. Consistent, positive reinforcement training is not just recommended, it is essential to harness her potential and ensure she grows into the confident, loving companion she is meant to be.
Let’s be real about the reality of adopting a superstar in training: Bowie is going to cause the usual, glorious chaos expected of a growing puppy. She is currently enrolled in the chewing-and-zoomies academy, and she takes her studies very seriously. If this is your first time hosting a tiny whirlwind, prepare for the sharp teeth, and the sudden urge to buy stock in durable dog toys. We need families who understand this commitment and are ready to manage the delightful mayhem before the perfect dog emerges.
Bowie is searching for a family ready to include her fully in their everyday life. She needs space to play, explore, and burn off that incredible Starman energy. A fenced yard for safe zoomies would be ideal.
While Bowie’s confidence is high, she would greatly benefit from a gentle, experienced fur sibling to show her the ropes and reinforce good manners. However, if you are prepared to dedicate the time and energy needed for her continued socialization, she is equally happy to be your one and only muse.
If you are ready for a commitment that guarantees love, laughter, and perhaps a few chewed slippers, apply to bring this little legend home. Bowie is waiting for her curtain call!
