About Mona
Mona is a delightful 2.5-year-old French Bulldog. She is very social with people, dogs, and cats alike. Her temperament is happy, and she is excited about life and loves being in the company of others. She really enjoys snuggling with her furry foster siblings and would do best in a home where she has another small to medium doggy friend. She is good with cats and shows no aggression at all in her temperament.
Mona has suffered from ongoing ear infections that have caused some damage to the blood vessels in her ear, making it appear lumpy and cauliflower-like. This is a common problem with the breed, and her new family will need to keep on top of yeast in her ears with regular checking and ear drops as needed. She has grown quite used to the ear drops and loves the opportunity for an ear massage.
Like all French Bulldogs, her weight must be kept under control to ensure no extra pressure on her joints. Her breathing is a little 'snorty' when she is excited, but it does not cause any actual breathing problems. Mona has not been tested with children, but due to her size, she would probably be suited to children over 5 who can understand she needs gentle love.
