Penny

Meet Penny, our shy little sweetheart with the most gentle disposition. At just 5 months old, Penny has already had a big start to life and is still learning that the world, and people, aren't so scary after all.

Here at the shelter, Penny's favourite spot is tucked away in her cosy igloo bed, where she feels safe and secure. Every now and then, you'll see her quietly peek out to say hello before scurrying back to her comfort zone. She's still finding her confidence, but those little moments of bravery show just how much potential she has to blossom with the right family.

Penny has shown us her sweet and sassy side, especially when she first met our vets! But with gentle pats, calm voices, and lots of patience, she began to melt and show her affectionate nature. Once she trusts you, you'll see that she's not just timid - she's tender-hearted and full of love.

Penny will need a quiet home with understanding humans who can give her time, space, and enrichment to help her grow into the playful kitten she's meant to be. With a patient approach, soft words, and plenty of reassurance, Penny will reward you with the most heartwarming transformation.

Ideal home: Calm environment, patient adopter, no young children, and lots of love and hiding spots.
