Mimi

Sweet Mimi is a sensitive young girl who can initially be a little unsure but is able to bond with her people quickly. She Enjoys sitting up in your lap for pats and affection. Mimi has shown some interest in toys and will likely play more once she has settled into her home.
Mimi would be best suited to a home where she is allowed indoors and will be included in the families day to day activities. Older calm children preferred and must meet at time of adoption. Mimi has lived with another small breed for most of her life, in shelter we have noticed some resource guarding behaviours during interactions with people when the other dog would approach. If going home with another dog owners will need to monitor/manage this behaviour. Must meet dogs at time of adoption as she can be a bit worried and reactive towards other dogs to begin with and takes a bit of time to become comfortable around them. Once she feels safe, initiates some play. Would be more comfortable with dogs similar in size who are respectful.
