About Turtle
đ˘ Meet Turtle - Your Gentle Little Treasure! đ˘
At just 10 months old, Turtle is a dainty torbie girl with the softest fur and an even softer heart. She's a quiet, gentle soul who loves to curl up in cozy spots and watch the world go by with her big, curious eyes.
Turtle may be a bit shy at first, but once she feels safe, she'll reward you with the sweetest affection - gentle head bumps, soft purrs, and quiet companionship. She's the kind of kitty who brings calm and warmth to any home, a perfect match for someone who appreciates a peaceful, loving friend.
If you're looking for a tender-hearted companion to share your quiet moments with, Turtle would love to be your little shellmate forever. đ
To book a meet and greet with Turtle please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au .
Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
