About Beanie
At only six months old, Beanie has already lived a life far harder than any kitten ever should. Found on the streets alongside her sister, the two of them clung to each other for comfort in a world that had shown them little kindness. Her sister has since graduated from our Rescue or Rehome program and is now thriving in her forever home - and now it's Beanie's turn to find her happy ending.
When Beanie first arrived, she was timid and unsure, keeping to the dark side of her and refusing to interact. But thanks to the gentle care of a wonderful community member who saw something special in her, Beanie has started to believe that people can be kind.
Once she feels safe, Beanie begins to show her heart in the most tender ways, soft little head boops, gentle blinks, and the quiet curiosity of a cat who wants to love but is still learning how. She's not the kind of kitten who will run into your arms straight away, but that makes every moment of trust she gives all the more precious.
Beanie needs a patient, understanding home. Somewhere calm and steady, where she can take things at her own pace. With time and love, she'll blossom into a loyal, affectionate companion who will reward your patience with the purest kind of love the kind that's earned.
If you have space in your heart for a small soul who just needs a chance, Beanie is waiting for you.
Beanie is part of our Rescue or Rehome program, where we are committed to finding homes for cats and kittens who simply cannot cope in the shelter environment. If you can open your heart and home to Beanie - or if you're a rescue group able to help - please reach out to us at adoptions@dogshome.com
