👑 Meet Drusilla — The Queen Herself 👑

This majestic beauty was heartbreakingly left unclaimed at the pound, and to be honest, we can’t comprehend how anyone could walk away from her. From the moment she arrived, Drusilla has been nothing short of regal — affectionate, gentle, and full of love to give. 💕

Drusilla is the kind of cat who makes you feel special. She greets you at the door with soft meows and sweet little head bops, as if to say, “Finally, you’ve returned to your throne beside me.” She loves curling up nearby while you work or relax, and she’ll happily soak up affection on her own terms. She doesn’t demand much — just all your attention and companionship, your devotion, and a comfy spot to nap in.

She’s not much of a player, preferring quiet moments of closeness over chaos, which makes her the perfect companion for someone calm or home often, perhaps someone who works from home or just enjoys peaceful evenings with a purring best friend. 🩵

Drusilla seems unfazed by some dog, often watching them with calm curiosity when they come to say hello although others she’s very hissy and unsettled. She would also need very slow introduction if there was another cat in the home. She’d fit beautifully into a household where everyone respects her space and status as queen or where she can rule without anyone to question her authority. 👑

With her long, luxurious coat, she does need regular brushing to keep her looking her elegant best. However, she’s not a fan of professional grooming — her last groomer can confirm she made her displeasure known! For any big grooming days, a little vet-prescribed gabapentin will make life much easier for everyone involved.

Drusilla also has a few firm royal boundaries — she’s not fond of being picked up, and she absolutely does not tolerate wearing jumpers (trust us, she’ll make her displeasure known for days!). Because of this, she’s best suited to an adult-only home or one with calm, respectful older children who understand her boundaries.

At heart, Drusilla is an affectionate, loyal, and loving companion who simply wants to be cherished for who she is. She’ll offer warmth, comfort, and a steady presence — the kind of cat who truly becomes part of your soul.

If you’re ready to adore her endlessly and treat her like the queen she knows she is, Drusilla will reward you with pure love and companionship for years to come. 💜
