He can be a little unsure around new people, but with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, he'll soon come out of his shell and show his loyal, affectionate nature. As a true working breed, Rex will need plenty of exercise, mental enrichment, and structure to help him settle and succeed in his new home. He's still learning about walks and the big world around him, so a family willing to help him adjust to new sights and sounds will set him up for success. He may also be okay living with a friendly female canine companion, pending a successful meet-and-greet to ensure a good match.
