About Janis
Note: This dog is currently being cared for in a home and when adopted, it will free up a spot to help another dog.
Janis is a gentle soul who is ready to find her forever home. She may be a little nervous when first meeting new people or exploring new places, but with patience and understanding, she truly blossoms. Janis requires an experienced family who can help her work through her nerves and blossom into her confident self.
Janis feels most confident when she has another dog by her side, so she will need to be rehomed with a calm, kind, and easygoing canine companion who can help guide her and show her the joys of everyday life. With the right doggy friend, Janis’s personality shines brighter every day. She is also cat-friendly and can happily live alongside feline housemates, provided introductions are done slowly and positively.
Janis tends to form stronger bonds with women and can be quite fearful of men. Any men in her new home will need to take things very slowly, giving her space and time to build trust at her own pace. With gentle patience and consistency, she will learn that she’s safe and loved. Janis is searching for an experienced family who will move at her pace, giving her the reassurance she needs to feel secure. In return, she will reward you with her quiet loyalty, gentle heart, and the joy of watching her grow in confidence.
If you have room in your heart and home for a sweet girl who just needs a little extra patience, Janis could be the perfect addition to your family.
