Quintessa is the foster dog that reminds foster carers why we do what we do. She came in scared and all of her defenses up but now she is one happy little girl.

She is a lighter dog because she has let most of her worries go in such a short time. At times she still needs a little bit of time to find her confidence but when she does she is super affectionate and sinks into your arms for a cuddle. She is very sweet and gentle and really has so much love to give.

Quintessa is currently living with 3 older and bigger dogs and a cat. She gets along great with them all. She loves to encourage the other dogs into a game of chasey and enjoys chasing a toy or ball.

She sleeps well in her crate and likes to use her crate with an open door during the day. She responds very well to any correction requests. She really is pretty easy in the house, potters about and does her own thing. She is quite independent and can often be MIA, we find her just throwing a toy around in the back yard. The occasional bark at noises but nothing excessive.

Quintessa really enjoys her walks. Pulls a little on the lead but nothing excessive and nothing a little bit of training couldn't fix. She is reasonably small - stands about 60cm high and weighs in around 20kg. She has gone from hiding as soon as she knew she was going in the car to being the 1st to jump in as she knows this means we are heading off for her morning walk.

She really does better and better every day and would make a great addition to your family.
