💙 Meet Nic – Our Big-Hearted Blue Heeler 💙
Nic is a 10-year-old Blue Heeler with a heart as big as his smile. At 33kg, he’s a little on the cuddly side and would love a home willing to help him trim down with some gentle walks and healthy meals.
This handsome senior is the definition of chilled. He’s calm, placid, and happiest just being by your side. Nic walks beautifully on lead, travels well in the car, and has excellent manners – he’s not an escape artist, and he listens well to commands. He’s perfectly content to spend his golden years as your loyal lounge companion and king of naps.
At the shelter, Nic happily ignores the other dogs and keeps to himself, but he’s a bit too interested in sheep, so a home without stock animals is best. He still has plenty of love and life to give and will make the most wonderful, easygoing companion for someone who appreciates the quiet company of a loyal old friend.
Nic’s adoption fee is $450 this includes desexing, vaccination, flea/worming treatment, microchip, and registration.

Adoption details
Call Queanbeyan Council on 1300 735 025 to be transferred through to an Animal care Officer that works at the facility. The animal care officer will take your details, send you an application form and if suitable make contact to book in a meet and greet at the facility with the desired pet.
Adoption fee cost:
When you purchase the animal they will either be desexed or the cost of desexing will be included in the fee. You will receive a voucher to take to a local vet to have the animal operated on. All animals adopted from our animal management facility receive free lifetime registration in NSW.
