Maggie is, first and foremost, a people dog. She adores human company, thrives on attention, and has a special soft spot for children. She is a world class cuddler who demands belly rubs and long, luxurious full-body massages. When she wakes up in the morning (sometimes needing a gentle nudge from her human!), she performs the most adorable, dramatic stretches to get the day started.
In the home, Maggie is a dream. She sleeps soundly through the night in the bedroom and is completely toilet trained, having quickly mastered using a doggy door. She doesn't demand constant attention and is perfectly content when left alone, usually settling down for a long, quiet snooze until you return
Maggie doesn’t demand constant attention, she is perfectly content when left alone and usually settles down for a long, quiet snooze until you return.
Maggie is an enthusiastic walker and would happily join you for two outings a day, enjoying jaunts of up to 3 kilometers at a time. She is excellent on the leash, although her excitement sometimes translates into a delightful side-to-side shuffle. She loves rolling around happily on the grass and enjoys a good mental workout with food-based enrichment puzzle toys. Her low-maintenance coat is a bonus, and she absolutely loves being brushed!
Things to be mindful of:
A Dog-Free Zone: Maggie needs to be the cherished only pet in the home. She is not keen on dogs and may nip at the face of any unfamiliar dog that approaches her. While she can competently walk alongside other dogs on lead without incident, she needs a home without resident dogs or cats (as she finds them a bit too tempting to chase) where she can maintain her personal bubble.
Maggie is a truly special girl waiting for her perfect match. If you’re looking for a devoted, loving companion who will fill your life with gentle joy and unwavering affection, Maggie might just be the dog for you. Come and meet this beautiful blue lady and discover the magic she brings!
