About Buddy
Hi there, I’m Buddy!
Big personality, bigger smile that’s me! I’m a Jack Russell who loves the good life. By “good life,” I mean lounging on the couch, snuggling under my favorite blanket, soaking up belly rubs, and enjoying the occasional snack.
I came from a loving home, and my humans made a very thoughtful choice to give me a lifestyle that’s more suited to me than what they could offer. Now, I’m looking for a calm, patient family who understands my quirks and appreciates the joy I bring when I feel safe and comfortable.
I’m very well trained and well behaved indoors, so you won’t find me causing chaos around the house. I do have a curious streak, though, and love to explore so I’ll need a very secure yard to make sure my “adventuring” instincts don’t get the best of me.
I have a small but mighty personality and like to take my time getting to know new people. At first, I might hang back and observe from a safe distance I like to be sure before I give my full approval but once I warm up, I’m all in. Loyal, loving, and ready to share all the snuggles and affection I have to give. Every new friend is a potential belly rub in my book!
Other dogs? I’ve met three so far, and I’ve been pretty reserved around them. I tend to keep my distance and do my own thing, so I’d probably be happiest as the main furry friend in the household or with a calm, patient pup who doesn’t mind that I need my space.
I’d do really well in a home where someone is around regularly someone who can shower me with affection and let me keep them company on the couch. My favorite thing in the world is being close to my people, enjoying quiet snuggles, and being part of their daily life.
I love chilling on the couch, playing with my favorite toys, and slowly getting to know people and pups at my own pace. I’m looking for a family who understands that a little patience goes a long way, and who knows that the reward is a loyal companion who will love you unconditionally.
P.S. Blanket and belly rubs are non-negotiable. If you can offer a warm lap, gentle pats, a secure yard, and plenty of attention, I promise I’ll fill your home with joy, laughter, and endless love.

Please ensure all corresponding documentation, such as vet work for existing animals & lease agreements are provided with the completed application to avoid any delays
Applications are not approved on a first in, best dressed basis, rather we will assess on your suitability. Should we believe that the animal you have applied for may not suit your home or lifestyle, we will work with you until we find your perfect match.
Upon approval of your application, we will pass your contact details onto the carer and they will liaise with you to arrange a meet & handover. Prior to the handover, an adoption contract will be emailed to you along with copies of vet work & our bank details. The signed adoption agreement & payment of the adoption fee is required prior to the animal leaving with you. We offer a two-week trial period, and the full adoption fee, minus an administration fee will be refundable if the adoption is cancelled within those two weeks.
