About Pounce
Meet Pounce, an adorable 10-week-old all black female domestic shorthair kitten who is sure to capture your heart with her sweet and playful nature. As her name suggests, Pounce has a knack for leaping into action with her endearing antics, making every day an adventure. Though initially a bit timid, she's quickly learning to warm up to the world, and her gentle demeanor makes her truly special.
Pounce finds joy in the simple things. Her favourite toy is a humble pen cap, showcasing her kitten curiosity. She loves romping around with her sister, showcasing her cheeky side, and knows just how to charm her way into your lap for a cozy nap. Pounce is gentle and respectful towards the adult cat in her foster home, showing her understanding nature and hinting at how well she'd integrate into a home with existing feline companions.
Sweet little Pounce had a rough start to life. She and her mum, along with her three littermates, were found dumped in a cardboard box when she was just six weeks old. Despite such an unfair beginning, Pounce hasn’t let it dull her gentle, loving nature.
With her quietly inquisitive personality, Pounce would thrive in a loving home where she can continue to blossom. If you're seeking a kitten with both a playful spirit and a sweet heart, Pounce is eagerly awaiting her new family to be a part of their lives and bring joy and cuddles with her delightful presence.
Medical notes
When Pounce first came into care, she was suffering from ringworm (a fungal skin infection), which has since been fully treated and resolved. She also experienced a mild case of cat flu early on, but it didn’t require any treatment and cleared up on its own. Pounce is now healthy, happy, and ready for her forever home.
