Hi there, my name is Bebe. I’m a sweet, sensitive little lady with a soft heart and a gentle soul, and I’m looking for a quiet, patient forever home where I can truly feel safe and loved.

I can be a bit nervous when meeting new people or adjusting to new surroundings, but I promise I’ve got so much love to give once I feel comfortable. A little food is the way to my heart — offer me a treat or two, and I’ll start to come out of my shell. I just need someone who understands that building trust takes time, and who’s happy to go at my pace.

I’d do best as the only dog in the home. I tend to avoid other dogs and feel much more at ease when I have my own space, so I’m looking for a home where I can be the center of your world.

Because I can be a bit fearful of loud noises and sudden touch, I’m looking for a home without young children. Kids 12 and up would be fine, especially if they’re calm and respectful of my boundaries. I’d really love a home that has both indoor and secure outdoor access — somewhere quiet where I can choose where I feel most comfortable, especially while I’m settling in. Going on walks might be too much for me at first, so it’s important I’m given at least a couple of weeks to decompress and get to know my new family and home before I explore beyond.

I’d really appreciate having someone home most of the time. When I’m left alone, I tend to pace and sniff around — I’m still learning how to feel relaxed when I’m by myself. I try to keep myself busy with enrichment, but what I really crave is companionship and a steady, predictable routine.
