Meet Taffy!

Part of us felt like an adoption bio was not necessary for Taffy, given how accurately her photos reflect what she is like as a dog. But if you have made it this far and would like to know a little more about this special lady, let us introduce her.

Taffy is part dog, part kangaroo and we think she may have inbuilt springs or something because that girl can jump, run, spin, parkour off the walls and we honestly wouldn't be surprised if she started doing cartwheels. Taffy is all about PLAYING and having a good time. She loves a good zoom around the yard (as pictured) and loves chasing balls, toys, plushies, anything really. She has loads of energy and would love an active home to reflect that lifestyle she needs.

When Taffy isn't doing her best kangaroo impression, she loves all the good things in lie- food (obviously), relaxing by your side, napping in sunny spots or chewing something fun like a pig's ear.

Taffy came to us as a stray and was super scared, often not wanting to engage with staff and getting super freaked out when she needed to be handled. We figured out this was not a true reflection of her personality, but actually because she had a bunch of wounds over her that were clearly causing her pain, meaning her tolerance was a lot lower due to the pain she was in. Watching Taffy heal from this and show us her true self has been wonderful. We can now see she is silly, playful, goofy, cuddly, loyal and loads of fun.
