About Toad
Meet Toad! đŸ
Toad is a 2-year-old tabby and white gentleman with a big voice and an even bigger heart. This chatty boy has a lot to say about everything - mealtime, playtime, cuddle time - and he's not shy about sharing his thoughts!
Toad absolutely adores people and thrives on attention. Whether he's winding around your legs, chirping for pets, or flopping down beside you for company, he just wants to be where you are. His outgoing personality makes him the perfect companion for someone who loves an affectionate, talkative cat.
When he's not chatting you up, Toad enjoys lounging in sunny spots and showing off his soft tabby stripes. If you're looking for a social, loving cat who will keep you entertained and never let your home feel empty, Toad might just be your perfect match. đ
To book a meet and greet with Toad please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
