About Cookie - 13 Week Old Staffy X
Meet Cookie!!
Cookie is a 13week old Staffy x puppy who loves a good snuggle. She is as cute and clever as they come!! She is a very playful, has learnt to walk on a lead really well, can sit when asked, and fully toilet trained as long as there's free access to a doggy door. She is currently in a foster home with a medium foster sister and plays well.
Cookie sleeps on her own happily in her bed not even waking the humans to go to the
toilet. Cookie is very much a human dog, gets very excited when she sees a new human. Cookie is after a furever home that will give her lots of hugs and attention with daily walks.
She would prefer to have another medium to large patient brother or sister to play with while the humans are at work or someone who is home more ofter than not. She will thrive with consistent training and stimulation, she is very treat orientated which has made training a breeze. She has also learnt ‘leave it’ ‘wait’ and ‘drop it’.
Cookie is very cat friendly but can be abit too much for cats at time but listens when asked to leave him alone. Cookie is best suited to a home that has children over 8 as she is still learning to be gentle. She’s met lots of people and is very friendly and affectionate and wants to be best friends with everyone she meets.
It is really important that Cookie is welcome inside when people are at home, and sleep inside. She will need good fencing with no small gaps.
Cookie's adoption fee is $800 which includes desexing fee when she is old enough. She has already had her first vaccination. She has been treated for fleas and worms and is microchipped.
Cookie is currently in foster care in Cessnock, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for her next vaccination if not already done at the time of adoption and desexing when she is 5-6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
