About Lovey
Meet Lovey, an endearing and gentle feline with a soft spot for love and companionship. A serene presence in your home, Lovey is one half of a bonded pair, sharing an unbreakable connection with his brother, Ginger. While Lovey may seem a little shy at first, his tender nature shines through once he's comfortable in his environment. When Lovey and Ginger are together, their loving energy fills the space with warmth and affection.
Lovey's world revolves around his brother, and together they form a dynamic duo. This pair of gentle souls can transform any house into a true home with their enchanting charm and harmonious presence. While Lovey may enter a home with quiet caution, it isn't long before you'll find him seeking gentle pets and curling up for some cozy companionship.
If you're ready to open your heart and home specifically to this incredible pair, you'll be rewarded with double the purrs and laughter. To meet Lovey and Ginger, visit them at U17/39-41 Corporation Circuit, Tweed Heads South. Ensure your interest in this delightful duo by filling out the adoption expression of interest form at Friends of the Pound's website. Lovey and Ginger are excited to find their special place in a caring new family!

Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
