About Sammi
Meet Sammi, a gentle and sweet-natured cat who's a bit on the shy side. He's looking for a home where he can be adopted alongside his brother, Fergus. Although he might be timid at first, Sammi quickly warms up to his surroundings, revealing a loving and tender heart that's perfect for anyone seeking a devoted and calm feline companion.
Sammi has a quiet charm that's endearing to all who meet him. Once he feels comfortable, you'll discover a soothing presence that can turn your house into a cozy home. His gentle demeanor makes him an ideal companion for those who appreciate a peaceful atmosphere. Sammi and Fergus would thrive in a family setting where they can stay together, providing double the love and companionship.
If you're interested in adding Sammi and his brother Fergus to your family, you're welcome to visit him at Tweed Heads South. Adoption details
If there is a cat/dog you would be interested in adopting that you have seen online or met at our Adoption Centres, you will need to fill out an Expression of interest. You can do this at the Centres or online at: https://friendsofthepound.com/adoption-expression-of-interest/
We only adopt out cats and dogs to locations that are within 2 hours driving distance.
If you are a homeowner, we need a copy of your Rates Notice. If you have a Body Corp, we need their written permission that cat/dog ownership is allowed.
If you are in a rental we need written permission from the Home owner/Letting Agent. The letter needs to be dated within the last week and state the property address, the name of the Occupant (adopter-to-be) and how long you have been at the property.
We cannot accept deposits and no hold can be put on a cat/dog.
All adoptions need to be approved by our Cat, Kitten or Dog Coordinators or Management so you might not be able to adopt the cat or dog at the time you meet them.
We aim to match the cats/dogs with the most suitable owner and home environment. Our goal is to have the cats and dogs go to a home where they can spend their entire lives, which could be up to 20 years or more for a kitten, and 15-20 years for a puppy.
