About Charlie
Meet Charlie, the delightful Poodle seeking a loving home to spend his golden years. With a heart full of affection and a gentle demeanor, Charlie embodies the perfect companion for an older couple or single individual looking for a cherubic, calm, and confident furry friend.
Despite his age and missing teeth, Charlie's excitement and zest for life never seem to waver. He enjoys going for walks and handles the lead with ease, showing a gentle and happy demeanor that is contagious. His love for company is undeniable, and he is content just being around his human family, indulging in daily cuddles and plenty of love.
Soft treats are a must for this toothless wonder, but rest assured, his capacity for bringing joy is tooth-achingly sweet! He also adores the company of other small dogs and has even shown himself to be accommodating and gentle around the shelter cat.
While Charlie may jump up to greet you in excitement, his approach is always gentle, ensuring that he expresses his love while respecting the boundaries of those around him. He thrives on human interaction, making him a great fit for a pet parent who wants a loyal shadow by their side.
Ready to share your heart and home with a loving senior gentleman? Charlie is eager to shower his new family with affection and warmth, relishing in all the cuddles and companionship he deserves in his twilight years.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
