About Mickey
Meet Mickey - Your Very Own Prince Charming! đŸ
Nope, not named after the mouse - but this 11-month-old tan and white Staffy mix has just as much charm, charisma, and character as any Disney star! Mickey is a social butterfly with a heart of gold, and he's ready to leap into his happily ever after.
Mickey is fit, friendly, and full of fun - think of him as the canine version of Aladdin: street-smart, loyal, and always up for an adventure. He's got solid foundational training, is toilet trained, walks beautifully on a lead, and is super eager to please. With a bit of guidance, he'll be your Simba - growing into a confident, noble companion.
Whether it's a playdate at the park or a cuddle on the couch, Mickey is as social as Olaf at a summer picnic. He thrives on connection and would love a home where he can be part of the action. He's not Goofy, but he's got that same joyful spirit - and yes, he's even more fun than a trip to Disneyland!
Mickey would suit an active household that's ready to continue his training journey and offer him plenty of love, play, and enrichment. He's got the energy of Hercules and the loyalty of Max (from The Little Mermaid), and he's ready to be your sidekick through thick and thin.
Why Mickey?
Because every home deserves a little magic - and Mickey brings it in spades. Adopt this Disney-worthy pup and let the adventure begin!

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
