About Pedro
I am trying a new home to see if i like it. Pedro is a gem who had a rough start. He was found in a box in a park and, when he first came into foster care, was frightened and skittish and ran away from anyone and anything. The wary look of this photo taken on his first day says it all, however he has quickly adjusted to civilisation and it's benefits. Pedro loves his warm bed and doggy coat and has discovered the joy of a generous lap and what good food tastes like. He may have never been for a walk, but got the idea very quickly and is learning how to walk nicely to heel. Pedro' toilet training is progressing well and he will soon have it all worked out. He doesn't dig or chew and sleeps quietly in his bed, curled up with the other dogs. His hair is gloriously white and silky and will need a weekly wash and brush but is not the high maintenance coat of the maltese breed. Pedro is a quiet, gentle soul but likes to play with his doggy mates, rolling and wrestling on the floor with them. He is still scared of loud noises or strange sights but the other dogs seem to reassure him. For a puppy he is doing very well and will suit a young family with lots of patience and who will take him to dog training and for walks and outings to learn to be a good doggy citizen. Pedro would benefit from having a steady doggy companion who will continue to show him the ropes. Pedro comes desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, wormed, on heartworm prevention and with nsw local council lifetime registration for $400 and is not available for adoption outside nsw.
