About Nacho
Nacho is a sweet, gentle boy who's looking for a calm and understanding forever home. He's a laid back, low-energy companion who spends most of his day happily snoozing, occasionally waking up for dinner, treats or a cosy head scratch session.
At first, Nacho can be very shy and will likely tuck himself away until he feels safe. With patience, love and time, he slowly opens up and shows his softer, more curious side. While he values his independence and prefers to come to you on his own terms, Nacho truly enjoys affection... especially chin and head scratches while he's curled up in bed.
He's a very well behaved cat who doesn't get up to mischief, making him an easy companion to care for. Nacho is more of an observer than a social butterfly. He loves watching the world go by from a window and exploring the house in short bursts of curiosity. He's not keen on being picked up or handled too much, but he'll happily keep you company in his own quiet way.
Nacho would thrive in a peaceful household without young children or too much hustle and bustle. He's perfect for someone who appreciates an independent, chilled out cat who doesn’t ask for much. Just food, water, kindness and space to feel secure.
His personality is still blossoming, and every week he reveals a little more of himself. With the right adopter who can give him patience and understanding, Nacho will no doubt continue to grow into the loving, loyal companion he's meant to be.
Nacho has not been tested with other cats or dogs while in our care.

Adoption details
All animals adopted through Out of the Woods Rescue are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated and health-checked. We aim to match each animal with a home that suits their needs and personality.
Here’s how our adoption process works:
Submit an application – This helps us get to know you, your household and what you're looking for in a pet.
Phone chat – If your application looks like a potential fit, one of our team members will contact you for a casual phone conversation to answer questions and discuss the animal in more detail.
Meet and greet – You’ll meet the animal in their foster home or another agreed location. If everyone agrees it’s a good match, we can proceed to adoption.
Adoption paperwork and payment – Our adoption fees cover desexing, microchipping, vaccination and parasite treatment.
Once adopted, the animal becomes part of your family. We're still here for post-adoption support if you ever need any help.
We’re committed to ethical adoptions and reserve the right to decline applications if we feel the match isn’t in the best interest of the animal.
