About Mr Wimberley
Mr Wimberley is a charming young lad with a gentle soul and a curious heart. He loves to sit by the window, quietly watching the world go by and following the dance of the “sun fairies” in the light. Calm and observant by nature, he’s happy to be near his people without needing constant attention, the perfect quiet companion for your day-to-day life.
When he’s relaxed and feeling safe, Mr Wimberley’s playful, sassy side shines through! He loves to climb, chase toys, and turn everyday life into a little adventure. His mix of thoughtful watcher and cheeky explorer makes him an absolute delight to have around.
Mr Wimberley is bonded with his best friend Mr Elwood, and the two are looking for their forever home together. They balance each other beautifully, Elwood’s confidence helps Mr Wimberley feel brave, while Wimberley’s calm nature brings out Elwood’s affectionate side. You’ll often find them napping side-by-side, grooming each other, or teaming up for playtime antics.
This sweet pair would thrive in a gentle, loving home where they can stay together, enjoy sunny windows, and share their mix of calm affection and playful fun with their new family.

Rocky Roads is run completely by volunteers - as such sometimes we do not have the capacity to reply to every single application that comes through.
We understand that this may not be the best experience but we are working hard to ensure the people who give up their valuable time and lives to support the animals in our care are able to look after themselves and their families too.
Without them, there is no Rocky Roads Rescue.

⦿ Adoption enquiry comes through
⦿ One of the RR team will reach out to discuss the adoption process with you - we are volunteers, please allow time for us to reach out to you!
⦿ Meet and greet is organised and completed - you head home! 💚
⦿ Family chats to decide if this adoption is right for you!
⦿ Adoption fee is paid
⦿ Contracts are signed and returned to RR
⦿ Pick up your new family member
⦿ 2 week trial period - during this time you can call and text any questions, concerns, celebrations etc to us!
⦿ At the end of the 2 week trial period we send you desex certificates, vaccination certificates and the microchip will be submitted for transfer into your name
Please note that at Rocky Roads Rescue, we believe every kitten deserves the joy of companionship. To support their well-being and happiness, we generally do not adopt out single kittens. We encourage you to explore the concept of ‘single kitten syndrome’ to understand why having a furry friend is so important. Your new family member will thrive best with a feline buddy or a cat-friendly dog to share playtime and cuddles. However, on occasion, if a cats’s personality shows they prefer to be on their own, we may consider adopting them solo—this will be clearly specified in their adoption profile.
