About Sooty
Sooty is a 1.5-year-old Maltese x Shih Tzu with personality plus! This petite lad is as charming as he is adorable — friendly, outgoing, and absolutely loves kids to bits. He’s well-socialised and a true little gentleman on the lead (non reactive), making every walk a joy. Sooty is already very obedient and easily trainable- making him ideal for therapy work or as an emotional support dog.
All the hard work has already been done — Sooty is crate and house trained and ready to fit right into his forever home. He’d thrive in a family with another small, playful pup to keep him company and share his adventures with.
Sooty’s low- to no-shedding coat makes him a wonderful choice for those looking for a cleaner home environment without sacrificing the cuddles! He’s not yappy or snappy — just a sweet, affectionate companion who wants to be part of your world.
Sooty tops the scales at 5kg, making him super manageable & easy to lift/transport.
💛 Sooty is only available to the VERY best of homes. He came into care due to family relocation, not through any fault of his. He’s such an easy going boy, who’s had a great start to life. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal little mate who will bring joy, laughter, and warmth into your life, Sooty could be the perfect fit.

Tell us about the home and lifestyle you can offer a dog.
We are interested in your family situation (who is in your family) their work/study hours, how long the dog would be left alone during a typical week.
What you can offer a dog in terms of activities, outings and training.
If you have other pets - in most cases we look favourably on a home with an existing dog or the possibility of adding another dog at a later stage (the exception would be if the dog being rehomed is not so good with other dogs).
Please also let us know where the dog will sleep and if it will be welcomed inside.
