About Spartacus
Meet Spartacus, a kind and gentle soul with the sweetest disposition. This laid-back Maltese mix is eagerly searching for a loving new family who values a calm and collected furry companion. Weighing in at just 5.5 kg, Spartacus is the ideal size to accompany you as a calming presence by your side, providing comfort without being a lapdog. His serene nature makes him a perfect match for those who appreciate the peace and tranquility a gentle pet like him can offer.
Spartacus may not be a playtime expert, but he possesses his own charm with adorable happy grunts and delightful spins that never fail to bring a smile to your face. He's a quick learner and already knows how to use the doggy door and navigate stairs, making life together a little easier. While Spartacus loves to soak up attention and adores being petted, he's also content with some quiet time, embodying the best of both affectionate and independent worlds.
This charming little fellow thrives on car rides, making him a wonderful travel companion who will relax and unwind beside you on any journey. Spartacus is happy to partake in leisurely sleep-ins, snuggled beside you as you hit the snooze button. With regular grooming, he maintains his dashing good looks and feels at his peak.
The best environment for Spartacus is a quiet home with a backyard (no apartments) where he can roam freely, and he's at his happiest with a family/owner that's home the majority of the time. While he doesn't demand walks due to his lead reactivity, he does benefit from training and structured boundaries to help him thrive. Because of his gentle nature and preference for a calm setting, Spartacus should be the only pet in a household without children.
If you're looking for a devoted companion ready to bring endless joy and tranquility into your life, Spartacus is eager to become your loyal partner in a peaceful, loving home.
Medical notes
Spartacus requires ongoing management of his stable hypothyroidism. He requires daily medication (Oroxine) which he takes like a pro.
Regular urinalysis is preferred to monitor his kidney values as he ages.
Had Cytopoint when necessary for itching. Not ongoing.
