About Tad
This little charmer is TAD, one of four pups from the “Finding Nemo" litter, born on 9 September 2025.
Tad’s Mum is an Australian Terrier, but we know nothing about his Dad, except that he is definitely not a large dog. Tad weighs only 1 kg and is destined to be petite in stature.
The Australian Terrier is an interesting breed. The smallest of the working terriers, they were the first domestic and native breed to be recognised in Australia. Fearless little hunters, they have become beloved companions, known for their loyalty and intelligence, but if circumstances require, they will be spunky and spirited, too.
Tad captures everyone's heart with his lively, loving and inquisitive nature. Although he’s small, his personality is Aussie Terrier big.
He’ll need plenty of playtime and mental stimulation to satisfy his high energy and intelligence. A well-fenced yard is essential as he will love to run and explore her territory.
Sensitive to his environment and protective of his family, he will sound the bark alarm when his watchdog instincts kick in.
With his low-shedding coat, he will require minimal grooming.
When the day is over and it's time for bed, this active little dog will curl up on your lap (or bed) and snooze the night away.
Adopt Tad and you will be gaining a loyal, loving and spirited friend who will devote his life to you.
Tad will be available from 4 November. His adoption fee covers the cost of desexing when age appropriate, subject to terms and conditions. He is microchipped and part way through is initial course of three vaccinations.
