About Lola
*In foster care in Newtown, Sydney*
(Princess) Lola is a beautiful and loving little soul whose favourite place is by your side! Tragically when lola's human became sick, she wasn't able to care for her anymore.
This darling girl enjoys pats, belly rubs and leisurely brushing sessions - usually trying her best to groom you too! She's truly the sweetest cat, content to spend most of the day snoozing somewhere cosy but easily tempted into play by the sound of a jingling toy :)
Lola does have some special care needs as she suffers from stage 2 kidney disease and a skin allergy. She's on a special diet to control both conditions and takes a tablet once a day. While she's stable, we're unable to say how quickly her disease will progress. She will need routine blood tests to monitor her condition.
If you can't adopt but are in a position to offer Lola a long term foster home with the support of Maggie's Rescue, we'd love to hear from you.
Like all Maggie's pets, Lola is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be with a wonderful human or two, or even a family who'll spend loads of time with me! I'm definitely happiest when you're around, chirping at you when I see you come home and begging you to come join me on the couch. I adore affection and hope to receive endless pats, snuggles and brushes!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I generally prefer to relax and laze about, but the sound of a jingling toy will usually get me moving!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: A family home with gentle and affectionate children sounds lovely to me :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'm not a fan of dogs and haven't been introduced to any cats since I was a kitten.
Medical notes
Lola requires a special diet to manage skin allergies. She is accustomed to this food, and her allergies have been well-controlled since being on this diet.
Lola has recently been diagnosed with stage 2 kidney disease. She takes a tablet once a day and eats her special z/d diet. While she's stable, we're unable to say how quickly her disease will progress. She will need routine blood tests to monitor her condition.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
