Hi, I’m Leroy. I’m a 10-year-old domestic short hair with a gentle soul and a soft spot for cozy corners and quiet company.

When I first arrived at the shelter, I was pretty overwhelmed. All the new smells, sounds, and people—it was a lot for me to take in. But with some time and patience, I started to relax, and now I’ve really come out of my shell. The people here have been kind, and I’ve learned that not all change is scary.

I’m a sweet and affectionate boy once I feel safe, and I enjoy gentle attention and calm environments. I’m not one for a lot of hustle and bustle, so I’d do best in a peaceful home so children who can read how I'm feeling and suit my mellow side would be perfect. If you’re looking for a quiet companion to share your days with, I’d love the chance to curl up next to you and enjoy the simple things in life. I may be a little shy at first, but give me a little time, and I’ll be your loyal friend.
