About Molly
Hello, my name is Molly, and my foster mum says I'm one of the sweetest girls she has ever meet
I am sweet 4 year and 5 month old Cavoodle (Cavalier King Charles x Toy Poodle).
I came into care as a retired breeding girl and have spent the last few months in care learning how to play and love.
The rescue has also ensured that I have had all my vet work completed including dental (with some extractions) to ensure my teeth are all good and my smile is bright and proud and now they are on a mission to find me my furever home.
I came into care a little nervous and unsure of people, but my foster mum has been working with me, and she says while I can be shy around new people, I do warm up real fast to people and then I'm a love bug who loves to get pats and your attention.
I will melt your heart and show you how once comfortable I love nothing more than hanging with my humans, having cuddles and playing with soft toys and then zoomies (which makes my foster mum smile!) I also love to be a little hunter out in the garden with lizards and will teach any other dog in the home how to do this - its fun so I like to share.
I love been treated like a little queen (and my foster mum says so I should be), I don't have separation anxiety, and my foster mum currently works a few days a week and I'm good at home with other furkids to keep me company.
My foster mum says I will be fine as an only dog but would then want a human being home more often than not or if I had a fur friend I am then all good if you need to go to work some days to earn the bikkie money.
I am good with kids but would prefer not to be picked up and tried to be carried by young kids (under 5).
I have not been tested with cats.
While I can still be shy in new situations I do like to go for a stroll and have been known to pull a little when excited but considering my size and weight it's really no issue!
I currently weigh 4.1kgs
I am currently living with a few other dogs (small and fluffy my foster mum says) and once I get over being nervous around them, I am happy to be with them, I do like to sleep with them at night but not a huge player. Or if your happy for me to sleep on your bed - I would be so good with that!
I love been told that I'm a good girl and am looking for a home where I can go with the flow and just enjoy my life with my humans.
I will take myself out to the toilet if the door is open, but I have been known to make mistakes occasionally when the door is shut - I haven't used a doggy door but if shown and with some patience I think I could easily learn.
My ideal home would be where I can be inside as much as I want and have access outside for lady business and some play and sunbaking. I would not enjoy being a dog that would be expected to spend hours outside by myself.
I do have a coat that requires regular grooming so please make sure you remember that is a lifetime of grooming, but my foster mum says it's worth it as I look so cute when prettily groomed.

Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.
Please Note: We do not hold any animals so please only apply if you are ready to adopt now
Please note - We don't take calls on adoption enquiries - an application must be completed

Complete the following adoption enquiry link

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption - each bio will state if available for adoption - please check before applying.
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
