Say hello to Dusty, a beautiful, petite brown tabby girl who is patiently waiting for her forever family. Dusty is a sweet soul who is shy but very easy to care for, bringing a quiet charm to any home.
Dusty has made wonderful progress in foster care! After spending time in various homes, she has steadily begun to open up in her current safe environment. While she remains reserved around people, she is highly comfortable with bathing and brushing, showing a trusting bond with her carer - a testament to her gentle nature.
This lovely girl enjoys the company of other cats, making her an excellent addition to a multi-cat household. She would thrive best with a resident cat who is calm and gentle.
Dusty is looking for a calm household, ideally without young children, where her new family will give her the time and space she needs to fully blossom. We are hopeful she will find the perfect, patient people to call her own.

At Furever After Rescue Incorporated, our mission is to find Furever Loving Homes for every pet we rescue. We ensure a perfect match by placing our cats in suitable indoor environments, either strictly indoors or indoors with a secure outdoor enclosure. This protects both your cat, and the local wildlife.
Our thorough adoption process includes:
Adoption form: Provides us with essential information about your lifestyle and suitability for cat ownership.
Phone interview: Allows us to discuss your expectations and answer any questions you may have.
Video or physical house inspection: Ensures your home provides a safe and comfortable environment for the cat.
Adoption fee: Helps cover the costs of veterinary care for our rescued animals.
2-week trial period: Gives you and the cat time to adjust and bond before finalizing the adoption.
As of July 2021, the adoption of desexed animals from a registered rehoming organization like Furever After Rescue Incorporated means you'll receive free lifetime registration for your new pet. Furever After Rescue Incorporated is a designated registered pet rescue organization with the Office of Local Government, complying with section 88B of the Companion Animals Act 1998.
All our cats come microchipped, desexed, minimum 1st vaccination (depending on age), flea-treated, wormed and with a free NSW Lifetime Registration.
As a token of our appreciation for adopting through Furever After Rescue Inc., we offer Royal Canin (40% off) discount vouchers redeemable at participating stores and online.
We also offer Cat Rules clumping litter (buy 2 get 1 free) discount vouchers redeemable direct from our supplier.
There's no obligation to purchase, but it's a great way to start your new furry friend off on the right paw.

Please note:
1) Refunds are not provided for cats returned within the 2-week trial period as they have not been given sufficient time to adjust. $50 admin fee will apply if a refund is approved after this period. A surrender fee may also apply if you return the cat into our care later in the future.
2) Due to the number of applications coming through, we will do our best to contact you within 1-3 days of your application submission. If you don't hear from us after that timeframe, please understand your application may not have been successful this time. There is no further action on your end.
