Huxley is a Small Mixed Breed. Based on his size and his appearance: medium-length coat, fluffy tail, expressive ears, and refined features — he may be a mix of a Tibetan Spaniel or Shetland Sheepdog potentially crossed with something else small like a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or Papillon. Credit also to Huxley’s previous owner, who wrote his bio. They reluctantly surrendered him after finding themselves working 10-hour + days and feeling that Huxley deserved more time and attention than they could give. (Single person home)

Howdy! I'm Huxley.

I'm a 5 year old mystery breed. I'm a loyal, gentle natured dog who lives for a cuddle. If you love me, I will be your little shadow. I am gentle with kids and I am okay at home by myself during the day. However, I would ideally like someone who is around more often than not or maybe a doggy friend to keep me company as I love connection.

I am always so excited to go for walks so I do pull on the lead a little more than I should. Ive been on very long hikes before and I will always keep up!

I don't mind a spa day and am happy for you to cut my nails and brush my hair. If you want to give me a bath I will just jump in the shower with you when you ask. Also if sleeping on the bed is an option my answer is always yes!

Likes:
- yoghurt, eggs, fresh meat, occasional popcorn
- chasing birds
- walks
- burying my chew stick for later
- cuddling
- smiling with my underbite

Dislike:
- big scary vacuum cleaners
- lawn mowers
- beans, I will pick them out of any meal"
