🌸 Meet Matilda — A Gentle, Loving Girl Ready for Her Forever Home
Hi, I’m Matilda, and I’m dreaming of the day I finally find a family to call my own. People often tell me I’m amazing — I’m still not sure I believe it, but I am gentle, sweet, and wonderful with dogs, cats, and kids. If that doesn’t make me amazing, maybe it’s pretty close.

My journey has been a little different. I was rescued from the pound — a cold, frightening place — and welcomed into the arms of a kind foster carer. I was adopted for a short time, but through no fault of my own, it didn’t work out. I returned to my original foster home, but due to personal circumstances, I can’t stay there much longer. Now I’m hoping for a new foster carer… or even better, a forever family who will love me for life.

💛 What Makes Me Special
I’m a loving, affectionate girl who wants nothing more than to shower my family with cuddles. I adore older kids — playing in the backyard, sharing sunshine, and curling up together sounds perfect to me. I’m equally happy being the only pet or joining a home with dogs or cats, because I truly love them all. My gentle nature makes me a wonderful companion no matter the household.

🐾 Playful, Energetic, and Full of Heart
I love playing with other dogs and have plenty of energy to burn, so a doggy sibling would be a great match. After a fun play session, I settle quickly and slip right into chill mode. I’m just as content being the only pet too — more cuddles for me!

A good-sized yard would be ideal. I adore zoomies, sunbaking, and taking nanna naps in the warm grass. I’m playful and curious, and I love toys, sticks, and anything fun to chew on (don’t worry — I learned long ago that furniture is off-limits). I’ll even sit and wait patiently for you to throw my toy… even though the excitement nearly bursts out of me!

🚶‍♀️ Walks, Adventures, and Car Rides
I’m pretty good on a leash, though I can get a bit excited at the start of a walk — there’s just so much to see and smell! I settle quickly into a calm pace. I’m fully house‑trained, enjoy my daily walks, and absolutely love car rides. Feeling the wind on my face is one of my favourite things.
