About Emmy
Emmy is a sweet and graceful girl with a soft spot for the people she loves. She’s independent yet affectionate, happiest when life moves at her own pace. Between naps in sunny spots and bursts of playful energy, she brings a quiet charm to every day. There’s something lovely about the way she chooses her moments to connect—it makes her affection feel all the more special.
Emmy likes to show love on her own terms. She’ll rub against your legs, curl beside you on the couch, or climb into your lap when she’s ready for cuddles. She’s more comfortable around adults than children and takes her time warming up to new people, but once she trusts you, she’s wonderfully sweet and loyal.
She would be happiest in a calm, adult-only home where she can feel safe and secure. Emmy would love to be the only pet so she can enjoy all the attention (and all the food!) to herself. Loud noises and sudden movements can make her a little nervous, so a peaceful space with patient guardians will help her truly relax and shine.
If Emmy could talk, she’d say her three favourite things are food, food, and—yes—more food! Mealtimes are the highlight of her day, followed by a little playtime and a cosy nap. She’s endlessly entertaining to watch when she’s in play mode, full of cheeky energy and curious charm.
Emmy is a loving, independent girl who’ll bring warmth and quiet companionship to the right home. She may take a little time to trust, but once she does, her affection is genuine and heartwarming. She’s ready to find a gentle guardian who’ll give her the calm, caring life she deserves.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
