About Leeroy - 9 Week Old Fox Terrier X Kelpie
Leeroy is an outgoing little pup with a big personality — a bit of a cartoon character! He’s playful, affectionate, and loves to follow you around. Cuddles and kisses are some of his favourite things.
Leeroy is a healthy, happy puppy who has been raised in a loving home environment. He’s very well socialised with both other puppies and adult dogs (large and small) and gets along beautifully with them all. He’s also met lots of people and is always friendly and affectionate.
We recommend puppy training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. Like all dogs, Leeroy will thrive with plenty of affection, exercise, and consistent training.
It’s a big bonus if you already have a friendly adult dog who can be a teacher, companion, and playmate for Leeroy. If not, he’ll need a home where someone is around most of the time — he’s not suited to being left alone all day.
Leeroy should be welcome inside when you are and should sleep indoors at least until he’s fully grown. He’ll make a wonderful, loving addition to any family!
Good fencing with no small gaps is essential to keep this curious boy safe and sound.
Leeroy’s adoption fee is $900 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. Leeroy has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Leeroy is in foster care in Singleton, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock), Upper Hunter (Singleton and Muswellbrook) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He will need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he is 5 to 6 months old.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
