Tiger (On Trial)

On went on trial in a new home on 16/7. Pls consider our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au particularly toby, a small mini foxy x chi who is also child friendly. . . Tiger is a 1 year old chihuahua x foxy cross. He's a very sweet people loving dog. He's not terribly energetic, preferring to follow you around and keep you company. Tiger gets on well with all other dogs and is very good with children. He wouldn't be suitable to a home with children under 8 though because he is very small and boisterous kids may frighten or accidently hurt him. . . . Tiger doesn't complain if he has to stay outside during the day when his family are at work, but he is definitely an inside dog and will need to go to a home where he will be allowed inside when people are home. He feels the cold and will need to be indoors after dark and sleep inside. . . . Tiger is house trained, walks quietly on the lead, does not bark or jump up or dig - in fact he is the perfect dog! i can’t imagine why his owners didn’t collect him from the pound. A yard inspection will be required as he is quite small and could get out if there were any gaps. (which is perhaps how he ended up at the pound. ). . . Tiger particularly likes to go for a ride in the car and will jump in as soon as the car door is opened. He would be a great companion for a retired couple who would take him on outings since he is well past the puppy stage and absolutely no trouble to have around. He'd be fine for any loving family who will give him plenty of affection and attention. . . . Dog rescue newcastle www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au is a not-for-profit, volunteer organisation.
